WHAT IS CHANGELING VR?

ChangelingVR is a virtual reality first-person interactive mystery founded upon the ideas of magical realism and a sense of unease and wonder. You play as detective Aurelia Walker, a private eye gifted with the unique ability to dream-walk, allowing her to see the thoughts and memories of anyone she touches. This gift leads the Summers-Manalo family to hire you, their last resort in discovering what is wrong with their baby. As you make contact with the mother, the father, and their two kids, you must use your mystical powers, as well as your skills of deduction, to enter their minds and make your way through their manifested hopes and fears to save the young child.

SUMMARY OF CONTRIBUTIONS

I was the Production Lead responsible for the largest team (80 student-employees) that had come through the Changeling VR project (as of Summer 2023).

I inherited the responsibility for supervising and assigning duties to the overall team, utilizing project management structures already in place, leading leads meetings, and attending team standups.

I directed each milestone and sprint leading up to the four playtests organized throughout the summer.

The previous project management structures in place needed to be revised to handle the size of the new team. I had to organize and structure new process pipelines and project management software that could handle the enormity of the new team size.

I organized and supported project build efforts, assisting with version control efforts in Perforce as needed.

I was the archivist responsible for cleaning up old documentation files and drawing attention to current ones.
